VOLspeed for Bosch Smart System with FREE Finn smartphone holder

Here you get the ingenious VOLspeed tuning module together with a FREE Finn smartphone mount for your handlebar. This combination is especially useful because the e-bike display will no longer show the correct speed when the tuning is active. However, you can easily call up the data via GPS-enabled additional devices such as your smartphone. If you attach your smartphone to the handlebar with the Finn mount, you will always have the actual data in view!

The VOLspeed module offers you various options for optimising your Bosch Smart System e-bike. Most importantly, of course, it removes the 25 km/h speed limit so that you can ride much faster with full motor support. With this tuning tool, you even have the option of setting the maximum speed to an individual value, namely from 25 to 45 km/h.

But not only that, with the VOLspeed module you can also improve the riding characteristics of the bike itself: You can set an optional "dynamic mode" in which the engine no longer stops so abruptly when the set top speed is reached. This results in a much more relaxed ride!

All settings can be made conveniently via the control buttons of the e-bike; you don't need a PC or smartphone!

VOLspeed for Bosch Smart System - facts at a glance:

-25 km/h speed limit is completely removed.

-The maximum speed can be freely set via the + & - buttons on the e-bike, from 25 km/h to 45 km/h. Tip: VOLspeed recommends that you do not set the maximum speed higher than necessary in order to prevent the Bosch anti-tuning software from hitting it. For example, if you don't ride faster than 35 km/h with motor assistance anyway, you shouldn't set a higher value.

-Tuning can be switched on and off at any time using the control buttons (preset sequence "-+-+"). After switching on the e-bike, the tuning is initially always OFF.

-Individual activation code can be set: With the VOLspeed, you can set your own sequence of one to max. 5 arbitrary button presses with which the tuning can be activated / deactivated. All available keys on the display can be used, including the left, right and menu keys.

-Dynamic mode: This feature is very special. In this optional mode, the engine power is reduced even more gently when the set top speed is reached, creating a more natural driving experience.

-VOLspeed is a tuning module that must be installed invisibly from the outside in the engine compartment. To gain access to the necessary plug connections, the engine cover must be temporarily removed. No cables need to be modified or damaged during installation.

-After installation, the VOLspeed module automatically sets itself up for the respective e-bike and is immediately ready for operation. No cumbersome calibration is necessary.

-No extra battery required, as the module is powered via the e-bike.

-Important note: When tuning is activated, the speed is displayed incorrectly from 21 km/h onwards (the displayed speed then always remains in the range of 21 to 24 km/h). In addition, too little distance is measured, so that the kilometre reading no longer corresponds to the real value. We therefore recommend that you display the correct values on your smartphone. Simply use the Finn mount supplied to attach the mobile phone directly to the handlebar. This way you can keep an eye on all the data when you're riding.

-If your e-bike does not have a display, you can also use the Bosch Flow app to display the module settings (open the Ride Screen in the app).

Note: VOLspeed generally advises against Bosch updates. If the Bosch Flow app reports an update, you should not apply it, as the tuning may then be detected by the pre-integrated Bosch anti-tuning detection. It also cannot be ruled out that the tuning module will no longer function properly after an update. For this reason, you should definitely deactivate automatic updates in the Bosch Flow app.

Finn Smartphone Holder

The Finn smartphone mount is made of high-strength silicone and is designed to fit virtually any bike handlebar and smartphone (even larger models are no problem). Finn is easy to attach to the handlebars and holds tightly, even when subjected to strong vibrations. It's an ideal accessory if you want to see real riding data on your phone, or if you want to use navigation or fitness apps.

The Finn mount, which even won the Eurobike Award 2014, is easy to remove and fits into any trouser pocket.

VOLspeed for Bosch Smart System - Compatibility:

The module is compatible with all Bosch Smart System e-bikes (sometimes referred to as "BES3" or "Bosch Gen4 2022") where the factory-set motor assistance reaches up to 25 km/h.

Compatibility is guaranteed with the following motors used on Bosch Smart System e-bikes:

-Bosch Performance Line

-Bosch Performance Line CX

-Bosch Cargo Line

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with magnet on the valve: This tuning module is not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes that do not have a speed sensor. You can recognise these models by the fact that they have a large magnet on the valve on the rear wheel rim (=rim magnet).

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with ABS system!

Not compatible with LED-Remote software version 11.9.3. Do not carry out any software updates on the Bosch drive system! This will negatively affect the function of the tuning.

Please note:

E-bikes with the displays Purion, Kiox, Intuvia, Nyon or Smartphone Hub are not part of the Bosch Smart System and are therefore not compatible with the VOLspeed for Bosch Smart System!

Also compatible with Purion 200 displays.
