The common e-novation mid-mounted motors are actually made by Bafang, one of the most important e-bike drive manufacturers. The motors are considered to be extremely low-priced and are installed in Prophete e-bikes, among others. The e-novation premium motors, on the other hand, are manufactured by TranzX.
