Bosch Smart System
Here you can find tuning tools specifically for Bosch Gen4 Smart System 2022 (BES3) e-bike drive systems ("BES3" stands for "Bosch development stage 3"). These drives are often also referred to as "Bosch Smart System 2022", and sometimes also as "Bosch Gen5".
The Bosch Smart System 2022 is a self-contained system consisting of a (partially revised) Performance Line CX motor, a PowerTube 750 Wh battery, the LED Remote, the eBike Flow App and, most importantly, the new Kiox 300 on-board computer. The remarkable difference to the previous Bosch e-bike drive systems is the focus on smart networking.
Although the system is based on the already familiar Gen4 motor, the connections at the motor have changed completely. There are also differences in terms of firmware. For these reasons, among others, the previous tuning solutions are incompatible with the "new" drive system.
But the tuning success did not take long to come. The first tuning solution for the new Bosch 2022 drives was already launched in March 2022, namely the "sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch Smart System 2022".
