MTT SmartChip “Switch”: Chip for Bosch Smart System (BES3)
The MTT SmartChip "Switch" is a practical tuning module for removing the 25 km/h speed limit for e-bikes with Bosch Smart System drive without display. In contrast to the MTT SmartSensor ("MTT SmartSensor"), the MTT SmartChip is a convenient module solution that is very compact and easy to install. The module is tiny and, unlike some other modules, fits into even the smallest engine compartment. Once connected, the MTT SmartChip enables you to ride with full motor support, even at speeds well above 25 km/h.
The MTT SmartChip does not require its own battery; the power is supplied by the bike. When tuning is activated, the display will no longer show any real values above a speed of 25 km/h.
The MTT solutions for Bosch Smart System motors are the best products for this motor to date. They generate by far the fewest error messages with the new Bosch motors.
Tip: We recommend the use of GPS-enabled additional devices such as your smartphone if you want to display the correct speed when you are cycling. Suitable mounts for the handlebars are available in our shop.
Important: The MTT SmartChip "Switch" is an extension to the previous MTT SmartChip. The "Switch" version is particularly suitable for Bosch Smart System e-mountainbikes without display. The MTT SmartChip "Switch" has a small cable on the chip which runs back into the chip. If it is disconnected, the original mode of operation is changed (see here): Tuning is activated when the magnet is in front of the speed sensor when the e-mountainbike is started. If the e-mountainbike is switched on and the spoke magnet is not in front of the speed sensor, the tuning is deactivated. This means that tuning can also be activated and deactivated without having a display on the e-bike. If you want to switch this function off again, simply reconnect the two cable ends that were previously disconnected.
MTT SmartChip "Switch" for Bosch Smart System - Compatibility
-This tuning module is compatible with e-bikes with "Bosch Smart System" drive systems, sometimes also referred to as "Bosch Gen4 2022", "Bosch Gen5" or "BES3" ("Bosch development stage 3"). The MTT SmartChip “Switch” is specially designed for Bosch Smart System e-bikes without a display.
-This tuning tool is not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with a rim magnet. These models can be recognised by the magnet or the speed sensor on the rear wheel valve. In this case, please select the RimBoost.
-Not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with ABS system.
Attention: Please do not carry out any Bosch updates after installing and using a tuning! Compatibility may then no longer be guaranteed!

Shipping costs
The shipping costs for Germany are 3,50 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 180 Euro. For countries within the EU the shipping costs are 9,90 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 300 Euro. We ask you to cover the cost of any return shipment yourself. Please note that customs fees may apply in third countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 25 Euro. Only from this amount you can use prepayment or PayPal and bank transfer as payment methods.
Maximum order value
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is 1.000 Euro. The maximum order value within the EU is 12.500 Euro.
Payment in advance bank transfer
Please transfer the total amount with your order number to our account which you received in the confirmation email. Please note that bank transfers within Germany can take up to three working days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria and Switzerland, usually arrive very quickly. From other countries, transfers can take a little longer on average.
Payment in advance Paypal
At the end of the order process you will be redirected to the page of Paypal. There you can initiate your payment. As soon as the Paypal transaction is completed, the status of your order will change in the store. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.

Legally permissible use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions.
