Put an end to the 25 km/h speed limit of your Brose Specialized e-bike (not compatible with Brose SL models)!

The SpeedBox 3.0 not only removes the speed limit of your Brose drive, you can even set the maximum speed limit to a desired value. As this is already the third version of this tuning chip, the display even shows the correct values (real speed, etc.).

The special thing about this "B.Tuning" version is that - unlike the "normal" SpeedBox - it is compatible with the specially developed SpeedBox app. This means you benefit from various practical additional functions, e.g. driving data analysis, an engine lock or the option to hide the tuning.

Note: The SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning Chip can also be used without the app. For example, you can also switch the tuning on and off using the control buttons of your e-bike. The same applies to setting the maximum speed. This means you don't have to take your smartphone with you every time you want to use your e-bike.

- Maximum speed can be set individually: You can conveniently set the level of maximum motor support using the SpeedBox app or the control buttons on your e-bike. If you want to use the control buttons, first switch the mode down three levels and then up three levels again (TURBO - TRAIL - ECO - OFF - ECO - TRAIL - TURBO). The current speed limit is then displayed. You can now set the maximum speed by briefly pressing the WALK button or by turning the rear wheel 360°. A displayed value of 1.5 km/h would correspond to 15 km/h, 4.0 km/h would be 40 km/h, and so on. The last value displayed is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

- Correct values in the e-bike display: Even when tuning is activated, the e-bike display shows correct values, e.g. current speed, average speed, range, daily distance etc.

- Tuning can be switched on and off: You can easily activate the tuning via the SpeedBox app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also use the control buttons on your e-bike. Switch on the tuning by pressing the WALK button. The display then briefly shows 9.9 km/h to signal that the tuning has been activated and the speed limit has been lifted. Press the WALK button again to turn the tuning off. A short display of 2.5 km/h then signals that the tuning has been cancelled and the maximum supported speed ends again at 25 km/h, just as usual. Your e-bike will then function as if no tuning chip had been installed. Tip: If your e-bike does not have a WALK button, you can also use the key combination + - + - to activate / deactivate the tuning.

- The SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning Chip does not require its own battery.

SpeedBox App

This version ("B.Tuning") of the SpeedBox 3.0 tuning module can be connected to the SpeedBox app via Bluetooth. This is ideal, for example, if you want to monitor your performance precisely. Among other things, you can view various riding parameters and data on your smartphone, save individual rides and compare them with friends, etc. But the app has much more to offer.

Note: All relevant functions of the SpeedBox tuning chip can also be controlled without the app (switch tuning on and off / set maximum speed etc.). However, the app is a very practical accessory with which you can considerably expand the chip's range of functions.

Installation

SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning is a chip or module that must be connected to the engine. This means that you must first gain access to the corresponding connections on the engine. Disconnect the cable connectors from the engine to the speed sensor and from the engine to the display. Then connect the SpeedBox to the appropriate connectors (see illustration). You can also install the module yourself.

If you want to restore your Brose e-bike to its original condition at some point, you can remove the chip at any time.

Important notes:

-If you want to install the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning module in a brand new Brose e-bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 10 km before switching on the module for the first time.

-If you want to update the software of your e-bike, you must first uninstall the SpeedBox from the e-bike. Update the software and then reconnect the SpeedBox again.

-Not compatible with e-bikes that do not have a connection on the display port (usually just a cap)

-Not compatible with Enviolo Automatiq
