sIMPLEk Pro für Bosch Gen4 Smart System - Nano Edition

This tuning module removes the 25 km/h speed limit of Bosch Smart System e-bikes. You even have the option to set the level of the desired motor support in 1 km/h steps.

The special thing about the Nano Edition is that it combines the standard version of the module with Stealth Edition. In Stealth mode, the maximum assisted speed is limited, reducing the risk of Bosch error messages. It is therefore much less likely that the Bosch drive's anti-tuning software will kick in. The Stealth mode can be activated / deactivated at any time via the menu.

To avoid error messages and tuning detection, this sIMPLEk Pro module is limited to a maximum speed of 40 km/h when delivered.

In the standard configuration, the tuning can be activated by an activation routine when the e-bike is switched on. If this does not happen, the e-bike behaves as in its original state.

By the way: The Simplek Pro module is a ready-made product - you do not have to go to the trouble of assembling it.

Real speed remains readable

With the sIMPLEk Pro module, the real speed remains readable in the e-bike display, even when the tuning is activated. Up to 22 km/h the speed is displayed normally, above that the real speed is displayed via the second digit and the decimal place. This has the advantage that the displayed speed always remains in a realistic range, even if you are actually riding faster. Here are a few examples:

A speed display of 22.9 km/h would correspond to 29 km/h in reality.

A speed display of 23.4 km/h would correspond to 34 km/h in reality.

A speed display of 24.2 km/h would correspond to 42 km/h in reality.

Etc...

Important note: The real speed can only be read (albeit via the second digit and the decimal place) if you have not reduced the maximum speed limit. If you have set the level of maximum motor assistance to a lower value than the maximum possible speed, you must mentally subtract values (see figure „sIMPLEk Nano Geschwindigkeitseinstellung“).

Correct total distance, max and average speed

The correct average speed, if activated, is displayed briefly at each stop.

The distance kilometres travelled are automatically added after one minute at a standstill, so that maximum speed as well as distance and total kilometres are also correct at the end of the tour.

For this, a one-time simple calibration is necessary, which starts automatically during the first start-up: An increasing speed is displayed on the speedometer. As soon as approx. 10.0 km/h is reached, the e-bike must be switched off and directly switched on again. Then the speedometer again displays a speed that increases in small steps. Now you have to switch off at exactly 10.0 km/h. This completes the calibration.

This tuning tool is compatible with the Bosch Smart System drive:

Performance Line (CX) Smart System with conventional speed sensor (no magnet on rear valve).

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with magnet on the valve!

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes with ABS system!

Note: If you have a conventional Bosch Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 or Gen4 e-bike drive (Classic Line, Active Line (Plus), Performance Line (CX) incl. Gen4, Cargo Line), please choose the "sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch - Nano Edition".

Important notice:
Due to the stricter tuning detection in the current Bosch firmware versions, it is advisable to reduce the limit for the motor support if tuning is used continuously. However, this has the consequence that the actual speed ridden can no longer be read off in tuning mode without more effort - values have to be subtracted mentally. The real speed remains readable (via the second digit and the decimal place) only if the maximum speed limit has not been reduced. See the following table:
