User-friendly e-bike tuning with smartphone app!

With this third-generation tuning module, you can not only remove the 25 km/h limit completely, you can also set the top speed to a desired value. Even when the tuning is switched on, the e-bike display continues to show correct values.

In contrast to the "normal" version of the SpeedBox 3.2, this "B.Tuning" version is compatible with the practical SpeedBox app, which allows you to benefit from numerous useful additional functions (see below).

You can control the tuning either via the app or with the control buttons of your e-bike.

Advantages of the SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning at a glance

-25 km/h speed limit is completely removed.

-Compatible with the SpeedBox app.

-Maximum speed can be set individually: You can conveniently set the maximum supported speed via the app. Alternatively, manual setting is also possible: Switch the mode down three levels and then up three levels again. The current speed limit is then displayed. Now you can set the maximum speed by briefly pressing the LIGHT button or by turning the rear wheel 360°. The last speed limit displayed will be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

-Correct values in the e-bike display: Even when tuning is active, the e-bike display shows correct values, e.g. maximum and average speed, range, daily distance, etc.

Tuning can be switched on and off: You can activate / deactivate the SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning Chip conveniently via the app or using the control buttons of the e-bike display. Switch on the tuning by pressing the LIGHT button or + - + -. The display will then briefly show 99 km/h to indicate that the tuning has been switched on and the speed limit has been lifted. Press the LIGHT button again to turn the tuning off. A short display of 25 km/h will indicate that the tuning has been cancelled and the maximum assisted speed will end at 25 km/h as usual. Your e-bike will then function as if no tuning chip had been installed.

-The SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning chip does not require its own battery.

SpeedBox App

This version ("B.Tuning") of the SpeedBox 3.2 Tuning Module can be connected via Bluetooth to the specially developed SpeedBox App. This allows you, for example, to monitor your performance precisely. Among other things, you can have extensive riding parameters and data displayed on your smartphone, save individual trips and compare them with friends, etc. By the way, the data displayed by the SpeedBox app is extremely accurate, as it comes directly from the control unit of the e-bike. And the app has much more to offer.

Here is an overview of the features of the SpeedBox app:

-Tuning control (activate / deactivate tuning)

-Speed limit (set maximum speed)

-Display of various parameters (speed, distance, battery, range, power, energy, torque, etc.)

-Save and display driving data

-Hide tuning (the tuning chip can then temporarily no longer be switched on via the bike's control buttons)

-Engine lock (engine can be temporarily switched off)

-Engine diagnosis

Note: All relevant functions of the SpeedBox tuning chip can also be controlled without the app (switch tuning on and off / set maximum speed etc.). However, the app is a very practical accessory that considerably expands the range of functions of the tuning chip.

Tip: Before ordering the SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning chip, download the SpeedBox app first. Use the demo version to get to know the features of the app and make sure it runs correctly on your smartphone.

Installation

The SpeedBox 3.2 is a module or chip that must be connected directly to the engine. Thanks to the marked connectors, the installation can be done by yourself. When connecting the module, follow the illustration "Installation Instructions Speedbox 3.2 for Bafang" (see below).

Of course, you can uninstall the SpeedBox chip at any time if you want to restore your e-bike to its original condition.

Important notes:

-If you install the SpeedBox 3.2 in a brand new Bafang e-bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 1 km before switching on the SpeedBox chip for the first time.

-If you want to update the software of your e-bike, you must first uninstall the SpeedBox from the e-bike. Update the software and then reinstall the SpeedBox.

SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning for Bafang M200 / M410 / M500 / M510 - Compatibility

The tuning module is compatible with e-bikes with Bafang Max Drive M500, M510, M410 and Bafang Max Drive M200 drive systems (with 4-pin connectors on the speed sensor).

Not compatible with Bafang Max Drive M300, M400 & M420.

Not compatible with UART connectors.

SpeedBox 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 (B.Tuning) modules for Bafang are compatible with motors using the CAN protocol, but not with motors using the UART protocol. The CAN or UART protocol can be distinguished by the shape of the connectors.

Compatible with the SpeedBox app (Bluetooth 4.0 or higher required).
