A recommended tuning solution for e-bikes with Bafang M300 or M400 drive system: The "SpeedBox" module is currently one of the few tuning tools for the popular Bafang MAX Drive mid-mounted motors on the market. With the processor-controlled SpeedBox you can considerably increase the maximum motor support of your Bafang drive; the 25 km/h speed limit then no longer exists!
After installing the module, the SpeedBox tuning can be conveniently switched on at any time via the light switch at the e-bike display - one push of a button and you can ride much faster with full motor support! The light symbol lights up to indicate whether the SpeedBox tuning tool is activated or not. If you want to cancel the tuning, you simply have to press the light switch again. After that, the Bafang MAX Drive system will have its original driving characteristics back and the motor support will end at 25 km/h again.
Note: With the SpeedBox for Bafang MAX Drive motors, the display only shows half of the actual speed when the tuning is active - this means that if the SpeedBox module is switched on and the display shows (e.g.) a speed of 20 km/h, you are in fact riding at a speed of 40 km/h etc.
Attention: If you want to continue using both light connections with the SpeedBox Bafang installed, an additional light cable is necessary ("Light cable for Bafang").
With a little skill, the SpeedBox can be installed in a short time. Thanks to the form-fit connection plugs, a faulty connection is impossible.
The Speed Box consists only of high-quality components from world-renowned manufacturers. The Speed Box module is even controlled by a microcomputer that was originally certified for the automotive industry.
When it comes to Bafang MAX Drive Tuning, the SpeedBox is a good solution.
Compatibility:
The SpeedBox 1.0 is only compatible with 36V Bafang MAX DRIVE mid-mounted motors (M300 / M400 with 3 pin connectors) and not with the Bafang 8FUN motor and 2020 models.
Only compatible with 3 pins on the speed sensor connector. To check whether the number of pins is correct, remove the engine cover and look at the speed sensor connector.

Shipping costs
The shipping costs for Germany are 3,50 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 180 Euro. For countries within the EU the shipping costs are 9,90 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 300 Euro. We ask you to cover the cost of any return shipment yourself. Please note that customs fees may apply in third countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 25 Euro. Only from this amount you can use prepayment or PayPal and bank transfer as payment methods.
Maximum order value
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is 1.000 Euro. The maximum order value within the EU is 12.500 Euro.
Payment in advance bank transfer
Please transfer the total amount with your order number to our account which you received in the confirmation email. Please note that bank transfers within Germany can take up to three working days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria and Switzerland, usually arrive very quickly. From other countries, transfers can take a little longer on average.
Payment in advance Paypal
At the end of the order process you will be redirected to the page of Paypal. There you can initiate your payment. As soon as the Paypal transaction is completed, the status of your order will change in the store. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
