Convenient e-bike tuning with the Advanced Chip & the Eplus Tuning App!

The tuning chip Eplus Advanced (by Mountain Tuning) for Bosch drives can be conveniently controlled and individually adjusted via smartphone with the Eplus Tuning app. Thanks to the app, it is not only possible to change certain parameters, you also benefit from numerous practical additional functions - for example, you can activate a motor lock or hide the tuning.

The Eplus Advanced core function is, of course, the removal of the 25 km/h speed limit. Via the app, you can set the maximum speed to an individual value, whereby even speeds of over 40 km/h are possible with full motor support. With Eplus Advanced, you can finally fully use the enormous potential of your Bosch e-bike drive!

You can switch the tuning on and off via the app or using the control buttons on the e-bike. Even when the tuning chip is active, the e-bike display shows correct values.

Eplus Advanced, a proven chip tuning with smartphone app

Please note: The "Speed Unlocker" function (for removing the speed limit) must first be activated by an in-app purchase for €0.99. Only then can the function be activated - either via the app or by pressing a display button (Light, but optionally also Walk or SmartHub Walk). The activation function does not work without an in-app purchase.

The system not only allows you to unlock the speed, you can also choose between different riding modes so that you can optimally adapt the riding characteristics of the bike to the route and your performance. You can choose from: Eco, Urban, Touring, Enduro Trial and Race.

Functions and features of the Eplus Tuning app:

-Changing the motor maps (6 different mappings from Eco to Race).

-Canceling the speed limit (speed unlocking)

-Change activation button and select between Walk, Light and Smarthub Walk

-Correct riding data in real time

-Wheel circumference adjustment from 2000 mm to 3000 mm

-Anti-theft protection / engine lock: activation of the Code Immobilizer to prevent engine starting

-Free setting of maximum assisted speed (values up to over 40 km/h are possible)

-Setting whether the tuning should be active or inactive when the bike is switched on

A few features of the app at a glance:

Ghost

With this new app feature you can make tuning “invisible”. By selecting the "Ghost" option, you can decide for yourself whether the tuning should be on or off when the engine is switched on.´

Speed Unlock / cancelling the speed limit

Cancel the 25 km/h (15 mph) speed limit if you want to use your e-bike on private routes (outside areas where road traffic regulations apply). To use this function ("Speed Unlocker"), an in-app purchase for 0.99 € is required (by which you also accept the liability assumption clauses).

Set maximum speed

This feature allows you to set the maximum supported speed, choosing from a range of preset values. This function is only available when speed unlock is active.

Anti-theft protection

Deter thieves: You can lock & unlock the Bosch e-bike motor via the app. Simply press the "LOCK" button and the motor is temporarily switched off. It will then no longer provide any assistance.

Complete Tuning

Use the cursors to adjust the motor assist correction factor according to the speed.

Mapping Customization

Use the MYMAP buttons to fully customise the mapping; the last configuration of the cursors will be automatically saved (the original mapping sets the default values of the engine).

Preset mappings

Selection of preset mappings, in addition to the existing mappings. You can create up to 6 additional mappings "ad hoc" to customize the riding style.

Instructions

Eplus Advanced is a tuning chip or module that must be connected directly to the e-bike motor (the required connectors are supplied). To gain access to the connectors, the motor cover and possibly a pedal must be removed for a short time. Further technical information can be found in the enclosed manual and in the Video Tutorial.
