Therefore, DO NOT update the software of your GIANT e-bike drive system!

The update could massively impair the function of the tuning and / or the e-bike.

We also advise against using the Ride Control app, as the app could force an automatic software update!

The VOLspeed tuning module for e-bikes with GIANT Syncdrive Pro / Sport drives scores with an unusually high range of functions. You can not only increase the speed limit to an individual value, but also set a "softer downshift" of the motor. This means that you can activate a special dynamic mode in which the annoying "wall effect" is reduced when the maximum supported speed is reached. The engine support then no longer stops so abruptly, so you benefit from a much more pleasant riding experience. Other tuning tools do not offer this option.

Installation and operation of this high-quality tuning module is simple and straightforward. The module must be plugged directly into the engine and is not visible from the outside. All settings and optimisations can be made conveniently via the e-bike display; neither a PC nor a smartphone are required. Even with active tuning, the correct speed is still displayed.

VOLspeed for GIANT Syncdrive Pro / Sport - Advantages at a glance

- Raise the speed limit to an individual value. Use the arrow keys on the control unit to set the maximum motor support to any value. Compared to many other e-bike tuning tools that completely remove the speed limit, you have the advantage with the VOLspeed module that you can only increase the maximum supported speed moderately, e.g. from 25 km/h to 33 km/h, if required. You then benefit from a much sportier driving style - but with more moderate battery consumption than if the speed limit had been completely lifted.

- You can switch the tuning on or off at any time using the handlebar buttons (the tuning is always deactivated after switching on the e-bike).

- The e-bike display continues to show correct values: Current speed, average speed, distance travelled.

- Activate "Softer downshift behaviour": Switch on the "dynamic mode" for this. If this mode is activated, the abrupt stop of the motor support when reaching the maximum supported speed is significantly reduced.

- You can adjust the wheel circumference during setup.

- Uncomplicated installation: The VOLspeed module simply needs to be plugged into the motor and is not visible from the outside after installation. Since no cables have to be damaged or modified, the original condition of the e-bike can be restored without any problems.

- Even after removing the tuning module, the correct mileage is indicated.

- The module is splash-proof.

VOLspeed for GIANT Syncdrive Pro / Sport compatibility

Compatible with all e-bikes or pedelecs with GIANT Syncdrive Sport or Pro drives from model year 2017 with EVO or CHARGE display. The module also works with model year 2019.

Compatible with RideControl ONE.

Please note:

- The remote control unit from 2017 is compatible with this tuning module, but the remote control unit up to 2016 is not.

- On GIANT e-bikes with RideControl ONE control unit only and without display, the VOLspeed module can only be operated with restrictions. You can make settings using the control buttons, but the corresponding values cannot be read.
