Remove the 25 km/h limit of your TQ HPR50 e-bike!

The TQ HPR50 e-bike drives impress with an exceptionally natural riding feel that comes very close to that of analogue bikes. You almost forget that you are sitting on a motorised e-bike.

What is annoying, however, is the limitation of the maximum speed to 25 km/h. This is where the PearTune MSO comes into play: With this tuning tool, you can lift the limit so that you can ride much faster with full motor support (of course, only on private property, as riding tuned e-bikes on public roads is prohibited). Accordingly, "MSO" stands for nothing other than "Max Speed Off"!

Unlike some other tuning tools, the PearTune MSO 4.0 even offers the option of setting the maximum speed to an individual value - conveniently using the control buttons on your e-bike. This way you can perfectly adapt the tuning to your personal requirements. For example, you can increase the maximum speed only moderately, e.g. to 30 km/h, if necessary. You can then ride much faster with motor assistance, but the energy consumption still only increases slightly.

The tuning can be switched on and off at any time using the + & - buttons of the e-bike.

Another interesting feature is the "chip lock", with which you can make the tuning "invisible" to others (the module can then no longer be activated until you remove the lock).

In addition, the e-bike and the TQ app display real values, even when tuning is active (e.g. the current speed).

PearTune 4.0 is a tuning tool in the form of a module that must be installed or connected in the engine compartment. The display connectors have to be installed under the display.

As the power is supplied via the e-bike, no extra battery is required.

Note: This tuning also works with TQ HPR 50 e-bikes that only have 1 button on the display (and NO + & - buttons) - if this is the case, the tuning is automatically activated as soon as the e-bike is switched on (speed limit cancelled). Tuning is then always active and cannot be deactivated. But: If you equip the E-Bike with an additional control unit with + & - buttons at some point, you can switch the tuning on and off as normal at any time (it doesn't even have to be the original control unit from TQ, SRAM or Shimano are also possible).

PearTune 4.0 for TQ HPR 50 - Features at a glance

-Complete removal of the 25 km/h speed limit.

-E-bike display and the TQ App show correct values, even when tuning is active (e.g. current speed).

-Maximum speed adjustable: The maximum supported speed can be set to an individual value by pressing the operating buttons (from 26 km/h upwards). After 10 seconds of inactivity, the last selected speed is automatically saved.

-Tuning activation: By default, the tuning chip can be switched on and off at any time by pressing the + and - buttons (++-- or +-+- or -+-+).

-Chip activation: If required, the buttons with which the tuning can be activated/deactivated can be selected individually - e.g. by means of the LIGHT button, WALK button or the + & - buttons (if available).

-The tuning module also works on e-bikes with only 1 button on the display - in this case, tuning is automatically activated as soon as the e-bike is switched on (speed limit permanently removed).

-Chip lock: When the chip lock is activated, the tuning cannot be activated with any button. This can prevent unauthorised access to the tuning.

-Starting the chip: You can specify whether the Tuning Chip should initially be INACTIVE or automatically ACTIVE when the e-bike is switched on (permanent or deactivable).

-Addition of the correct kilometres travelled: When riding with the tuning chip activated, the distance travelled no longer matches the distance actually travelled. However, you can add the correct kilometres, whereby you can determine the calculation method yourself, e.g. by adding kilometres while riding and while stationary or only when stopping, etc.

-Chip reset: If you want to install the tuning chip in another e-bike or when replacing the speed sensor, a chip reset must be carried out. The old settings can be retained; alternatively, the chip can also be reset to the default settings.

-Chip software version information: The current software version of the chip can be shown on the display.

Compatible with the following e-bike drive system:

-TQ HPR50

By the way: The TQ HPR50 motor is identical on all e-bike brands. So it doesn't matter if you have a TQ HPR50 e-bike from TREK, SCOTT, PINARELLO, etc.

Note:

This tuning also works with TQ HPR 50 e-bikes that only have 1 button on the display (and NO + & - buttons)- Examples are the Pinarello Nytro F7 and the BMC Roadmachine 01 AMP X TWO with TQ HPR 50 motor.
