Badass Box Panasonic "Freeze"

A tuning tool for e-bikes with Panasonic drive, which are equipped with a 2-speed gearbox or an electronic gearstick. This tuning tool removes the 25 km/h speed limit of the Panasonic drive. This is possible because after installation, the box "freezes" the transmitted speed at a limit below 25 km/h. This means that the Badass Box transmits the speed limit to the user. This means that the Badass Box transmits a modified signal without contact, i.e. without a direct electrical connection to the motor (or the motor software), so that the factory-set speed limit can be exceeded. Damage to the engine is thereby excluded.

Please note: When tuning is active, the e-bike display will no longer show the correct speed (and derived) values.

By removing the Badass Box and moving the magnet to its original position, the Panasonic e-bike can be returned to its original state at any time.

To activate the tuning tool, place the box on the speed sensor of the e-bike and move the spoke magnet a little. Thanks to a patented snap lock, attaching the Badass Box is extremely easy - the motor does NOT have to be opened for this.

The power supply of the Badass Box Freeze comes from an included AAA battery. Of course, the battery can be replaced at any time, without any tools. However, thanks to the specially developed and patented FEET field reinforcement technology, the battery has a long service life of around 7,000 km.

Of course, the box is robust and insensitive to moisture. Every Badass Box is double-checked for correct functionality during the manufacturing process.

Badass Box Panasonic "Freeze" - Compatibility

- All e-bikes with Panasonic mid-mounted motors, including Panasonic mid-mounted motors with 2-speed gearboxes or Panasonic e-bikes with electronic gears - e.g. Rohloff e14, Di2 in derailleur and hub gear versions, NuVinci Hsync, etc.

- Also suitable for 2-speed FIT motor.

- Not suitable for GX0 / GX Ultimate

Scope of delivery

- Badass Box Shimano Freeze

- Spoke magnet with Toolfree 4mm screw

- 1.5 V AAA battery (IEC R03)

Badass Box Panasonic Freeze - Assembly

- Place the Badass Box over the speed sensor next to the rear wheel.

- As soon as the snap lock engages, the box is securely attached to the sensor. Optionally, you can also secure the box with a cable tie.

- When mounting the Badass Box for the first time, you have to replace the original magnet with the supplied spoke magnet (this works exactly like the original magnet, but is necessary for the function of the field amplification).

- After the Badass Box has been placed on the sensor, the spoke magnet must be moved towards the edge of the housing in the direction of the snap lock.

- If the spoke magnet should touch the Badass Box, the spoke magnet must be positioned as close as possible to the Badass Box and turned 90° - that's it!

- The Tuning Tool is now activated, the 25 km/h speed limit is removed.

- To undo the tuning, simply pull off the Badass Box again and move the spoke magnet to its original position.
