This tuning chip for Panasonic GX0, GX Ultimate & PowerPlus e-bike motors offers extensive features. For example, the 25 km/h speed limit can not only be lifted, the maximum speed can even be set individually. You can even set a personal activation code to switch the tuning on and off. If necessary, a chip lock can also be activated to prevent unauthorised access to the tuning - the tuning can then no longer be switched on until the chip lock is removed again. All this with correct speed display.

The module is operated via the buttons on the e-bike display; neither a PC nor a smartphone is required.

PearTune 4.0 for Panasonic - Features at a glance

-25 km/h speed limit is removed.

-E-bike display shows correct values, even with active tuning (current speed).

-Set maximum speed: The maximum assisted speed can be set to an individual value by pressing the + and - buttons. After 10 seconds of inactivity, the last selected maximum speed is automatically saved.

-Chip activation: By default, tuning can be switched on and off at any time by pressing the light button twice. To confirm, the display will briefly show the values 9.9 or 9.0 / 2.0 or 2.5 after activation / deactivation.

-Chip activation: Selection of the buttons with which you want to activate/deactivate the tuning. PearTune 4.0 offers the option to set an individual activation code.

-Chip lock: When the chip lock is activated, the tuning chip can no longer be activated with any button. This can prevent unauthorised access to the tuning.

-Start of the chip: You can specify whether the Tuning Chip should automatically be ACTIVE or INACTIVE when the e-bike is switched on.

-Addition of the correct kilometres travelled: When riding with the tuning chip activated, the distance covered no longer corresponds to the distance actually travelled. However, it is possible to add the correct kilometres, whereby you can determine the calculation method yourself, e.g. by means of tracking while riding and when stationary or only when stopping, etc.

-Chip reset: If you want to install the tuning chip in another e-bike or replace the speed sensor, you can perform a chip reset. The old settings can be retained or the chip can be reset to the default settings.

-Chip software version information: The current software version of the chip can be displayed on the display.

A mountable tuning module

The PearTune 4.0 is a tuning tool in the form of a chip or a module that has to be installed in the engine compartment of the e-bike with waterproof connectors.

As the power supply for the chip is provided via the e-bike, no extra battery is required.

PearTune 4.0 for Panasonic - Compatibility

This tuning tool is compatible with all e-bikes with Panasonic mid-mounted motors without FIT system, for example:

-Panasonic GX0, GX Ultimate, PowerPlus

-Corresponding motors are often installed in e-bike models from Kellys, Crussis, LeaderFox etc.


-Not compatible with e-bikes with FIT 1.0 or FIT 2.0 system!

-Compatible with all displays

-Even compatible with latest software (from 2023, but also 2024 etc.).
