Eliminate the 25 km/h speed limit of your Bafang e-bike!
With this tuning tool you can get the maximum out of your drive system! The SpeedBox 3.0 is a tuning chip that completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit of e-bikes with the Bafang Max Drive M300 or M400 motors. There is even the option to individually set the desired top speed. The chip is conveniently controlled via the control buttons of the e-bike, you don't need a PC or smartphone.
Even when tuning is switched on, the display shows correct values, such as the current speed.
Advantages of the SpeedBox 3.0 at a glance
-Removal of the 25 km/h speed limit.
-Maximum speed can be set individually: You can set the maximum supported speed by first switching the mode down three levels and then up three levels again. The display then shows the current speed limit. Now the maximum speed can be set by briefly pressing the LIGHT button or turning the rear wheel 360°. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the last speed limit displayed is automatically saved.
-Correct speed in the e-bike display: Even when tuning is activated, the e-bike display shows correct values (speed, maximum and average speed, range, daily distance, etc.).
-Tuning can be switched on and off: The SpeedBox 3.1 can be conveniently activated / deactivated using the control buttons at the e-bike display. To switch on the tuning, you can either press the LIGHT button or the button combination + - + -. The display will then briefly show 99 km/h - this signals that the tuning chip has been switched on and the speed limit has been lifted. Press the LIGHT button again to deactivate the tuning. A short display of 25 km/h then indicates that the tuning module has been switched off and the maximum supported speed ends at 25 km/h again. The e-bike then functions as if no SpeedBox was installed.
-The SpeedBox 3.0 Tuning Chip does not require its own battery.
Installation
The SpeedBox 3.0 is a chip or module that must be connected to the plug connections at the engine. Thanks to the marked connectors, the installation is simple and can be done by yourself. You can use the illustration below as a guide for the installation.
If necessary, you can remove the SpeedBox module again at any time if you want to restore the original condition of your Bafang e-bike.
Important notes:
-If you install the SpeedBox 3.0 in a brand new Bafang e-bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 1 km before starting the tuning for the first time.
-If you want to update the software of your Bafang e-bike, you must first uninstall the SpeedBox 3.0 from the e-bike. Then update the software and install the SpeedBox again.
SpeedBox 3.0 for Bafang M300 / M400 (3-pin plug) - Compatibility
This tuning tool is compatible with the following e-bike drives (with 3-pole pins on the speed sensor):
-Bafang Max Drive M300
-Bafang Max Drive M400
Not compatible with Bafang Max Drive M420.
Not compatible with Bafang Max Drive M500.
Not compatible with displays with UART connectors.
Not compatible with the SpeedBox app.
SpeedBox 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 (B.Tuning) modules for Bafang are compatible with motors using the CAN protocol, but not with motors using the UART protocol. The CAN or UART protocol can be distinguished by the shape of the connectors.
Note: This tuning tool is also available in a special "B.Tuning" version, which is also compatible with the practical SpeedBox app. This means you benefit from various useful additional options (e.g. engine lock, ride data analysis, hide tuning...).

Shipping costs
The shipping costs for Germany are 3,50 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 180 Euro. For countries within the EU the shipping costs are 9,90 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 300 Euro. We ask you to cover the cost of any return shipment yourself. Please note that customs fees may apply in third countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 25 Euro. Only from this amount you can use prepayment or PayPal and bank transfer as payment methods.
Maximum order value
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is 1.000 Euro. The maximum order value within the EU is 12.500 Euro.
Payment in advance bank transfer
Please transfer the total amount with your order number to our account which you received in the confirmation email. Please note that bank transfers within Germany can take up to three working days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria and Switzerland, usually arrive very quickly. From other countries, transfers can take a little longer on average.
Payment in advance Paypal
At the end of the order process you will be redirected to the page of Paypal. There you can initiate your payment. As soon as the Paypal transaction is completed, the status of your order will change in the store. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
