Please note that the "VACUUM phone case" is only one component of the FIDLOCK VACUUM system - you also need a compatible holder. We recommend the "VACUUM handlebar base" (LINK), which can be easily attached to the handlebar using clamps or cable ties.

The VACUUM phone case is equipped with a ball catch and recessed geometry - this not only looks decorative, but also has very practical reasons.

The smartphone case ("VACUUM phone case") is connected to the holder ("base") via a magnetic guide. The integrated geometry prevents the phone from slipping off. As already mentioned, the attached phone can also be turned 360° with one hand while driving - the recessed ball catch prevents this from happening unintentionally. By the way, under heavy loads, the mobile phone is secured not only by magnetic force, but also by the suction power of the suction cup.

Thanks to this ingenious functional principle, the smartphone is held absolutely securely on the handlebar, even on bumpy trails.

By the way, the VACUUM phone case not only serves to secure the smartphone to the holder, it also has a protective function, both on and off the holder. For this purpose, the smartphone case has been provided with a shock-resistant TPU border, and the inside has been equipped with soft material as scratch protection for the sensitive back of the mobile phone.

How does the FIDLOCK VACUUM system work?

Fidlock Vacuum is an innovative smartphone mount based on a unique combination of suction cup element and magnets. The system consists of a special smartphone case ("VACUUM case") and a holder ("VACUUM base"), which must be attached to the handlebars of the bicycle or e-bike. The connection between the two elements is made very easy via a magnetic guide. However, the connection is not only based on pure magnetic force, but also on the suction power of a suction cup that creates a vacuum. The smartphone is correctly centred by means of magnetic force. As a result, the mount can withstand even high loads, such as those experienced on bumpy trails.

With this ingenious system, attaching the smartphone to the bike / e-bike is definitely easier than ever before - thanks to magnetic force, you just have to let the phone snap into the holder on the handlebar. But the smartphone is not only easy and quick to attach, it can also be removed just as easily. All you have to do is press a lever on the side of the VACUUM base.

Another advantage of this system is that the smartphone can easily be rotated 360° in the holder so that you can switch from portrait to landscape format at any time. A ball catch prevents the phone from twisting by itself on bumpy trails.
