The Badass Box Fazua is only compatible with the sensor shown (top picture) if it is located on the chain stay (area marked red in the bottom picture).

The Badass Box 4 completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit of e-bikes with Fazua mid-mounted motors. This means that the full potential of the Fazua drives can finally be used - which means that you can ride much faster than before with full motor support!

The Badass Box 4 has the advantage that it can be put on and taken off in no time with just one hand, so that you can activate or deactivate the tuning at any time. After attaching (=Tuning On), the Badass Box transmits a modified signal contact-free - i.e. without electrical connection to the motor or intervention in the motor electronics - so that the preset speed limit can be exceeded.

Due to its function, the e-bike display will show an incorrect speed when tuning is active. This also applies to values derived from it. Our tip: Simply use GPS-capable additional devices such as smartphones or bike computers to display the correct speed and other riding data.

The Badass Box 4 has the advantage that the legal status of the e-bike can be quickly restored (motor support up to 25 km/h). All you have to do is pull off the Badass Box and push the spoke magnet back to its original position.

Every Badass Box is Made in Germany and is double-checked for correct functionality during production.

The most sophisticated Badass Box ever

Thanks to various improvements, the Badass Box 4 is the best version of this proven tuning tool so far. Here are the most important advantages over the previous models:

-The housing has been redesigned and made slimmer, so that there can no longer be any installation situations that are too tight.

-The O-ring of the previous version has been replaced by a patented snap lock, so that the Badass Box can be pulled off or put on even more easily and quickly. In addition - at the customer's request - an optional fastening safety device by means of a cable tie has been provided on the snap lock.

-The CR2 battery has been replaced by a more powerful AAA battery. This only needs to be changed once a year, or after more than 7000 km. The specially developed, patented field enhancement technology FEET ("Field Enhancement & Elimination Technology") also contributes to the increased range. The battery can be changed without tools in a short time; suitable replacement batteries are available almost everywhere in the trade.

-For protection against moisture and mechanical stress, the electronics of the Badass Box are glued into the housing with a special potting compound and completely sealed.

Installation

In contrast to some other tuning tools, the engine does not have to be opened for the installation of the Badass Box 4.

For the first installation, you have to mount the supplied spoke magnet instead of the original spoke magnet. Although the supplied spoke magnet works exactly like the original magnet - it is necessary so that the patented field amplification technology works when the box is mounted.

The Badass Box 4 itself must be mounted via the Fazua speed sensor next to the rear wheel. As soon as the snap lock engages, the box is securely fastened (optional additional fastening by means of cable ties is also possible). After putting the Badass Box on the sensor, you only have to move the spoke magnet towards the edge of the housing in the direction of the snap lock - now the tuning is active and the 25 km/h speed limit is lifted!

To cancel the tuning, simply remove the box and move the spoke magnet back to its original position. Now the motor support ends again - just as usual - at 25 km/h,
