PearTune MSO 4.0 for Specialized 1.1 / 1.2 SL e-bikes

The PearTune tuning module in a version especially for Specialized SL 1.1 & 1.2 e-bikes. The core function is the removal of the 25 km/h speed limit, so that you can ride significantly faster with full motor support ("MSO" = "Max Speed Off"). However, PearTune MSO 4.0 has a number of additional options that considerably increase the functional scope of this tuning tool. For example, for the first time there is the option to individually set the level of the maximum speed. Another new feature that can be very useful in case of need is the so-called "chip lock". By activating the chip lock, outsiders can no longer detect that a tuning tool has been installed - i.e. the tuning can temporarily no longer be activated, and the e-bike as well as the display function normally. Unlocking again is only possible with a certain key combination.

Another advantage of the PearTune MSO 4.0 is that even when tuning is active, the correct speed is shown on the display (no halved values). Tuning can be switched on and off at any time while on the move.

The PearTune MSO is a module or a chip that must be connected between the motor and the display and between the motor and the magnetic speed sensor. This is done by means of original connectors. Thanks to the "Plug & Play" principle, the module does not need to be configured.

-Unlocking: 25 km/h speed limit is completely removed.

-Maximum speed individually adjustable: The maximum supported speed can be individually set with the + and - control buttons, conveniently in 1 km/h steps.

-Correct speed indication in the e-bike display, even when the tuning module is activated.

-Chip lock ("Lock the Chip" feature): If the chip lock is activated via the control buttons of the bike, the tuning chip is locked on the software side, so that the tuning is virtually invisible. The idea behind this is that others can no longer see that a tuning chip has been installed. In this case, the e-bike and the display function normally and the tuning cannot be switched on temporarily. The chip lock can only be deactivated/unlocked using a specific key combination. The tuning will then function normally again.

-Chip activation: The tuning chip can be activated or deactivated at any time by briefly pressing the WALK button or by pressing the + and - buttons twice quickly. If you activate or deactivate the tuning, a short confirmation appears on the display.

-Switching between Normal and Still On version possible. For e-bikes without the control buttons needed to switch on or off, you can switch from the NORMAL to the STILL ON version - in this case, tuning is always activated as soon as you switch on the e-bike.

-Tuning status when switching on: You can set whether the tuning should automatically be ON or OFF when the e-bike is switched on.

-Chip reset: If you want to connect the tuning chip to another e-bike or replace the speed sensor, you can perform a chip reset. You can restore the factory settings or keep the chip settings.

-Adding the correct kilometres travelled: When tuning is activated, the actual distance driven is no longer displayed while driving. Now you can set how the missing kilometres are to be recalculated or added - for example, only when stopping, or also as an addition while driving and when stopping, etc.

-PearTune MSO 4.0 does not need its own battery (power is supplied via the display plug).

Attention: On e-bikes without a display, the functions can only be used partially or not at all. We recommend the PearTune 3.0 SL 1.1 in the "Still On" version.
