PearTune MSO 3.0 for Shimano EP801 / EP6
No more speed limit!
This tuning module completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit from e-bikes with Shimano EP 801 & EP 6 motors (whether with or without Di2 gears). Consequently, the abbreviation "MSO" stands for nothing other than "Max Speed Off”.
This means you can ride much faster than 25 km/h with full motor support; the actual achievable speed is ultimately only limited by factors such as cadence, motor power, etc.
The PearTune module does not require its own battery as it is powered by the e-bike battery.
Tuning can be switched on and off
The tuning is automatically activated as soon as the E-Bike is switched on (=speed limit lifted).
If the E-Bike has an activated light function, the tuning can be switched off or on again at any time by using the light button.
Important: When tuning is active, the E-Bike display will only show the correct speed up to around 21-25 km/h. At higher speeds, the displayed speed will be "frozen" so that the same value is always displayed.
Tip: To display your real speed on the road, we recommend using GPS-enabled additional devices such as your smartphone. It is best to attach it directly to the handlebars so that you always have all the data in view. You can find practical mounts in stores.
Simple Installation
The PearTune 3.0 is a module or chip that must be permanently installed in the motor housing of the e-bike. The connection is made using waterproof plug connections.
Please note that the motor cover must be removed briefly during installation in order to gain access to the corresponding plug connections. If you want to use the option of switching the tuning off and on again via the light function, the red cable must also be connected to the "+" port.
If your e-bike does not have a light function or light button, you can simply ignore the red cable.
After installation, the module configures itself and you don't need to do anything else.
If you wish, you can remove the PearTune at any time if you want to restore the e-bike to its original state.

Tip: If you have an e-bike with Shimano EP8 / EP8(00) or EP8 RS engine, please choose the "PearTune MSO 3.0 for Shimano EP8".
Important notes:
-Before you install the PearTune in a brand new e-bike, you must have ridden at least 1 km on the bike beforehand.
-We generally advise against software updates on the e-bike, as the tuning may no longer work afterwards.

Shipping costs
The shipping costs for Germany are 3,50 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 180 Euro. For countries within the EU the shipping costs are 9,90 Euro. The shipping costs are waived from an order value of 300 Euro. We ask you to cover the cost of any return shipment yourself. Please note that customs fees may apply in third countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 25 Euro. Only from this amount you can use prepayment or PayPal and bank transfer as payment methods.
Maximum order value
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is 1.000 Euro. The maximum order value within the EU is 12.500 Euro.
Payment in advance bank transfer
Please transfer the total amount with your order number to our account which you received in the confirmation email. Please note that bank transfers within Germany can take up to three working days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria and Switzerland, usually arrive very quickly. From other countries, transfers can take a little longer on average.
Payment in advance Paypal
At the end of the order process you will be redirected to the page of Paypal. There you can initiate your payment. As soon as the Paypal transaction is completed, the status of your order will change in the store. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
