ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning - The First E-Scooter Tuning Module

With the ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning module, e-scooters with road approval from the brands Egret and The-Urban can be exempted from the 20 km/h restriction that applies in Germany. This includes the models Egret Ten V4 (with and without power update), Egret Eight V3 (with and without power update), The Urban #HMBRG, The-Urban #BRLN, The-Urban #RVLTN, but also the Egret Ten V4 36V and the new The-Urban xH1. The tuning module is connected to the vehicle via a short plug that can be installed either between the throttle grip and the wiring harness (on the handlebars) or in the deck under the running board between the wiring harness and the controller. When you attach the module to the handlebars, it is practical and can be removed quickly - for example, to drive again in accordance with the regulations.

Important: The ScooterBoost can now be used on all Egret and The-Urban e-scooters up to the latest firmware 9.3. The rebuilt Egret Ten V4 (from Egret Ten V3 to V4) version is now integrated. Likewise the The-Urban #HMBRG. This allows all models of Egret and The-Urban to be optimised.

Easy activation and deactivation via the display

When installed, the ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning module can be activated and deactivated via a combination on the display with a defined key sequence. The combination has been adapted so that accidental switching while driving is no longer possible:

Activation is as follows:

A) First support level

B) Light on

C) Change to support level 5

D) Light off

E) Result: The mood is activated.

Deactivation is also very simple:

Either I) switch the e-scooter off and on again, then the tuning is automatically deactivated again,

or II) select the first assistance level and press the "Light off" button.

Note: If the light is already switched off in the first assistance level, it must first be switched on again to receive the "Light off" signal.

Speeds of over 30 km/h are realistic

According to the latest tests, the Egret Ten V4 Power Update with ScooterBoost! 38 km/h in freewheel mode. The situation is similar for all other models. The freewheel is independent of motor and model and always reaches around 38 Km/h. In driving mode, i.e. under load, speeds of up to 30 km/h are quite realistic. No other solution can achieve that. ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning is the first professional e-scooter tuning module.

The actual top speed that can be achieved depends on many factors such as rider weight, gradients, wind, road surface etc.. And last but not least, on the power of the motor:

Egret Ten V4: 500 watts continuous power, 800 watts peak power.

Egret Ten V4 36V: 350 watts continuous power, 650 watts peak power.

Egret Ten V3 converted to V4: 500 watts continuous power, 800 watts peak power

Egret Eight V3: 350 watts continuous power, 745 watts peak power

The-Urban #HMBRG: 350 watts continuous power, 650 watts peak power

Assembly and disassembly: Easy installation of the ScooterBoost module

The installation of the ScooterBoost module is very simple: Starting from the throttle grip, loosen the casing (approx. 20 cm), open the corresponding connection and then insert the ScooterBoost from Mountain Tuning. Then close the casing again, or not. The uninstallation is then very easy.

Alternatively, you can also install the ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning module in the deck. The wiring harness under the footboard is also open for the ScooterBoost by Mountain Tuning module.
