With this tuning tool you can adjust the 25 km/h speed limit of the motor support of your e-bike with BionX drive to make your electric bike even faster! Tuning is absolutely simple and uncomplicated with the JUM-Ped - it is not necessary to remove the motor or battery. With the tuning tool, the speed lock of your BionX system can be reset within a few minutes. You don't need a PC or any basic technical knowledge.

Functions of the JUM-Ped-SE:

- Set the maximum speed assistance from the electric motor. You can set a freely chosen value.

- Select the maximum speed of the throttle function.

- Set mileage, count charging cycles,...

Procedure: First remove the shrink tubing from the original connectors near the console on the handlebars. Then you have to disconnect the plug on the e-bike and connect the JUM-Ped SE tuning device to the plugs on the bike. Now all you have to do is switch on the tool and you can start tuning! By the way, the JUM-Ped-SE tool does not remain on the vehicle after tuning. The tuning tool has an LCD display that you can choose to display in German or English. It is operated intuitively and conveniently via 4 buttons with which you can select the desired speed from the menu or enter an individual value (the maximum speed that can actually be achieved depends, among other things, on the performance of the system used).

The BionX motors are considered to be particularly efficient and powerful. The special feature of the BionX systems is that they support the rider proportionally to his or her pedalling force. In addition, the synchronous motor of the BionX system can also be used as a generator when riding downhill and braking, which can extend the range by 7-15 %. Tuning with the JUM-Ped-SE Vmax Remover for BionX can be done easily by yourself within a few minutes: Simply connect the tuning tool between the console and the battery - and you can increase the top speed of your BionX system to an individual value at the touch of a button. Afterwards, simply remove the Tuning Tool (the tool itself does not remain on the e-bike). Of course, the tuning can be reversed at any time in the same way.

Please note that the JUM-Ped-SE Vmax Remover BionX Tool is limited to 1 single system - however, you can make as many changes to this system as you like with the tool. After activation by the BionX Tuning Tool, the e-bike may no longer be used in road traffic. Riding after resetting the settings is at your own risk. Please observe the legal regulations.

On which models does the JUM-Ped-SE Vmax Remover Tuning Tool work?

All e-bikes or pedelecs with BionX drive from June 2009 with CanBus system (all firmware versions, all console types such as G1 / G2 / Ride / Ride+).

Scope of delivery: In addition to the JUM-Ped-SE Tuning Tool, the scope of delivery also includes all necessary connection cables, plugs and, of course, an instruction manual. The JUM-Ped is for the activation of 1 Bionx system.

Notes for Smart and Grace e-bikes:

- Connect the JUM-Ped to your Smart or Grace bike as described.

- Select the desired value and confirm with the OK button.

- Immediately start pressing the buttons on the console of your bike alternately (sequence not relevant), press the buttons only briefly, do not hold them down.

- If you do this, the bike will not switch off and you can complete the unlocking with the JUM-Ped without any problems.

Notes on Diamant, Trek e-bikes and systems with G1 Console:

A battery-powered version of the JUM-Ped is available for Diamant and Trek e-bikes and systems with G1 Console, which works independently of the bike's power supply.

Important note: Each JUM-Ped for BionX is limited to 1 system. This means that once the JUM-Ped for BionX is connected to 1 specific BionX system, the tuning tool cannot be used on any other BionX system - it remains connected to the respective BionX system forever. When the JUM-Ped for BionX is used for the first time, the configuration values and the serial number of the connected BionX system are saved in the Tuning Tool - this ensures that the original state of the BionX e-bike can be restored at any time if necessary. The product cannot be exchanged once the seal on the packaging has been opened and the product has been connected to the motor.
