sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch - Nano Edition

The sIMPLEk Pro tuning module not only removes the 25 km/h speed limit of Bosch e-bikes, you can even set the desired maximum speed individually via the menu. This allows you to optimally adapt the tuning to your needs.

This Nano Edition combines the previous standard version with the Stealth Edition. In Stealth mode, the maximum speed that can be set is limited (45 km/h), which reduces the possibility of error messages.

The Stealth mode can be switched on and off very easily via the menu.

Real speed remains readable

Unlike many other tuning tools, the actual speed remains readable with the sIMPLEk Pro tuning tool. Up to 22 km/h the speed is displayed normally, above that the real speed is displayed via the second digit and the decimal place. This has the advantage that the displayed speed always remains within a realistic range, even if you are actually driving faster - here are a few examples:

A display of 22.9 km/h would correspond to 29 km/h in reality.

A reading of 23.4 km/h would be 34 km/h in reality.

A reading of 24.2 km/h would correspond to 42 km/h in reality.

Etc...

Important note: The real speed can only be read (via the second digit and the decimal place) if you have not reduced the maximum speed limit. If you have set the level of maximum motor assistance to a lower value than the maximum possible speed, you must mentally subtract values (see illustration "sIMPLEk Nano Geschwindigkeitseinstellung").

Correct maximum speed and distance travelled

The correct average speed, if activated, is displayed briefly at each stop.

Since the distance kilometres travelled are automatically added after one minute of standing still, the maximum speed as well as the distance and the total kilometres are also correct at the end of the journey.

This requires a one-time simple calibration, which starts automatically when the device is switched on for the first time: An increasing speed is displayed on the speedometer. As soon as approx. 10.0 km/h is displayed, you must switch off the e-bike and switch it on again immediately. Now the speedometer again shows a speed display that increases in small steps. Now you must switch off at exactly 10.0 km/h. The calibration is now complete.

Tuning activation

In the standard configuration, you can activate the tuning by means of an activation routine when you switch on the e-bike. If you do not do this, the e-bike will behave as in its original state.

Note: The Simplek Pro module is a ready-made product - you do not need to assemble it.

This tuning tool is compatible with Bosch Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 & Gen4 e-bike drive systems:

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System 2022!

If you have an e-bike with Bosch Smart System drive, please choose the "sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch Smart System - Nano Edition".

Tip: Bosch Smart System e-bikes (BES3) can be easily recognised by the charging cable plug, among other things.

SQUARE plug = Bosch Smart System BES3 (Gen4) + Bosch Gen5:

ROUND plug = Bosch Gen2, Gen3 & Gen4:

If your Bosch e-bike charging cable has a round plug (as shown above), you have selected the correct tuning module (provided the bike does not have ABS). If your Bosch e-bike does not have either connector, you either do NOT have a Bosch e-bike or an e-bike with the old Gen1 drive (Classic Line).
