System and Display Behavior on Bosch Motors
When using the EBT Unlock Key with Bosch E-Bike motors of Gen2 through Gen4, users will notice that the speed displayed on the onboard computer is shown at exactly half of the actual riding speed. This effect is by design and stems from how Bosch systems process and limit speed-related signals once tuning is activated. It does not impair functionality or riding performance. Importantly, this behavior does not indicate a malfunction. Users of Bosch Gen1 motors benefit from accurate and full speed display values during operation. The EBT Unlock Key works reliably across all supported systems, and no 504 error messages or similar issues occur.

- Not compatible with Bosch Gen1 HMI displays
- Not compatible with Bosch Smart System (BES3)
- Intended for private/off-road use only (not legal on public roads in most countries)
