About Fischer e-bike motors
The tradition-rich bicycle manufacturer Fischer produces e-bikes in the categories of city (with low entry), trekking and mountain bikes. For its e-bikes, the company relies both on its own motors and on drives from other manufacturers, e.g. motors from Brose or Bafang. Well-known in-house motors are the "Fischer Silent-Drive motors", available as a 20 Nm front motor or as a 50 Nm mid-mounted motor.
One of Fischer's own drives, which they presented in 2019, was developed by the Chinese motor manufacturer Etrotek. This drive is available in different versions, namely as a mid-mounted motor with 50 Nm, but also as a front and rear motor with 25 Nm each. Available with 36V or 48V. Fischer also used Brose motors for the first time in the 2019 model year. Both the Brose Drive C with 50 Nm and the powerful Brose Drive S with a full 90 Nm, which is primarily designed for MTBs, are installed. With the Bafang drives, Fischer uses a rear wheel motor with 25 Nm, for example.
Can Fischer e-bike motors be optimised?
In principle, yes. However, the selection of recommended tuning tools for Fischer motors is very limited.
For example, there is the MBIQ-S tuning sensor for Fischer e-bikes - you can buy it in our shop.
