E-Bike Tuning for GIANT SyncDrive Motors: GIANT SyncDrive motors are custom-tuned mid-drive systems based on Yamaha technology, optimized by GIANT for their own e-bike range. These motors combine the proven reliability of Yamaha hardware with GIANT’s proprietary software tuning and display integration. SyncDrive systems are found in a wide range of GIANT and LIV e-bikes, including trekking, touring, and high-performance e-MTB models. Supported models include: SyncDrive Life / Sport / Core / Pro / Active, SyncDrive Pro2 (Yamaha PW-X3 based), paired with GIANT’s RideControl displays or LED remotes

Tuning Options for GIANT SyncDrive. Tuning for GIANT SyncDrive motors is available via hardware-based modules only. These tuning chips: Remove the 25 km/h (or 20 mph) speed limit, are plug & play and typically installed at the motor or speed sensor, require no software or diagnostics, are fully reversible and easy to disable if needed
